Airtel VS Jio Prime with 149, 349 Plans Compare with 149 & 303 it's worth it or it's not
Airtel offers 28GB 4G data, unlimited calls for Rs 349 to Compare Jio Prime
Image source "phoneradar" The Airtel’s new tariff plans look promising on paper on the first look. However, they are not as promising as you might expect them to be. So Airtel has two new tariff plans. If you get the 149 INR plan, Airtel mentions that you get unlimited voice calls, but in actuality, you can only do on-net calling only whereas you have to pay in order to call other operators. Even on roaming, only the incoming calls are free, and users will have to pay for the outgoing calls. As far as data is concerned, you will get 2GB of data and all of this will be valid for 28 days.
The other plan which Airtel is offering costs 349 INR with which you will get 28GB of data valid for 28 days. However, the catch is that you can use only 500MB of that 1GB in the day time and the remaining 500MB can be used in the night time, i.e., from 3 A.M to 5 A.M. But on the positive note, we get unlimited voice calls, and there are no restrictions as such. This plan is targetted to beat the Jio’s 303 INR plan which again offers unlimited voice calls and 1GB data/day. And unlike Airtel, users can use the data here at any given time within 24 hours.
And lastly, it is also worth noticing that the plans offered by Airtel are Special Tariff Vouchers (STV) and the company can cancel, postpone, etc. But on the other hand, this is not the case with Jio. Considering all that, the combo plans which Jio is offering makes much more sense than the ones offered by Airtel in and around the same price. However, the only factor which needs to be considered here is Jio’s performance. Airtel’s service is still comparatively better than Jio since users have still complained about Jio’s poor connectivity in certain occasions. Hence if you are ready to let go of that, then we recommend you to get Jio’s combo plan.
